Taxation Amendment Act 20 of 2022

A new Tax Amendment Act, Act 20, has been published as of January 5th, 2023.

Notable and relevant changes include the adjusted scaling up of the carbon tax price in South Africa until the years 2030, with the tax rate reaching ZAR462 per tCO2e in 2030.
