Our new name, Brundtland (previously EcoMetrix Africa), and our bold new look, celebrate not only our rapid and remarkable growth into a leading local and global sustainability consulting firm, but also our exciting future: leading the transition towards a sustainable economy.

What has changed?

Our new name Brundtland reminds us of our vision, to empower people to create a sustainable planet for future generations; aligned to the renowned ‘Brundtland Report’, which first introduced the modern concept of ‘sustainable development’. It is also a tribute to the Brundtland Commission chair Gro Harlem Brundtland, who is one of The Elders: global leaders called together by Nelson Mandela with a focus on sustainable development (click here for more information).
Our new look reflects the company’s growth over the last two decades and the broader suite of holistic sustainability services we have developed over this time, encompassing Climate Strategy; Climate Finance; Climate Cloud Solutions; Climate Policy and Climate Disclosure.
