ELECTRICITY REGULATION AMENDMENT BILL

Bill to amend the Electricity Regulation Act, 2006.

Involves a new chapter in dealing with electricity reticulation by municipalities, “A municipality must provide a licensed person with non-discriminatory access to its distribution power systems and associated infrastructure under its control in order for that person to supply or wheel electricity through the said municipality’s reticulation networks.”
