In preparation for the 2025 reporting cycle, the Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment (DFFE) has introduced a manual submission process for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting. Data providers must submit their annual GHG emission statement using the required templates and tools, including the Annexure 3 reporting form and supporting documents. The updated fuel combustion tool also includes new Tier 2 CO₂ emission factors for coal (both sub-bituminous and other bituminous coal) and polyfuel. All GHG statements must be submitted via email by March 31, 2025 to GHGReporting@dffe.gov.za. Access the official templates, guidelines, and tools below to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
